Ružín pumped storage power plant on the Hornád river is the country´s first pumped storage power plant to feature reversible turbines – there are two sets having a Francis turbine here. Because of the protection from high waters the values for flood flow rates were recalculated following a number of years in operation and a non-dammed waste-water let-through completed based on the calculation.
